Introduction

The bioFAS™ B-3500 BioChip Media Carriers can improve the moving bed biofilm reactor (MBBR) process. These carriers provide a self-sloughing, auto-regulating attached growth biofilm treatment process, significantly increasing the efficiency of BOD reduction, nitrification, and denitrification. The high specific surface area of the media translates into a more effective treatment process, optimizing both system footprint and capital costs.
