Application Parameters:

The Problem:  The existing DAF was not providing adequate pretreatment prior to discharge to the local municipality. To stay in compliance with discharge permits for soluble BOD and TSS, installation of new DAF units and biological treatment system were required.

The Solution:  bioprocessH2O supplied two DAF units and a single stage bioFAS™ MBBR biological treatment process to reduce BOD at varying flow and organic loading rates.

Status/Results: The bioFAS™ MBBR System effectively removes BOD by >90% and easily meets the discharge permit requirements. The system is able to operate with minimal operator attention and oversight. Additional details can be provided by bioprocessH2O.
